Anatolia Patrol

History

Anatolia of Sakarya began toll-manufacturing 4×4s in 1966 and in 1987 took on full licence production of the coil-sprung Runner family, its first major defence order. Licence production ran for around a quarter of a century, into the 2010s, making Anatolia one of the most prolific builders of military Runners outside the works. Details characteristic of Anatolia production include side-hinged rear tailgates with swing-away spare carriers and windowless canvas canopies, with vehicles delivered in a plain NATO-green finish. Overall production figures have not been published.
