956 Mk 2s: the British Army took 932 and 24 were exported. Empty 8,636 kg, laden 14,224 kg, five tonnes of payload.

The Mk 2 is the Steadfast most people have seen, in British service from the mid-1960s until 1993, swimming on vectored water jets at six to nine knots. Top speed, power and mass fall outside the fleet suggested range because this is a heavy amphibious load carrier, not a light utility. Torque 178 Nm remains the CLI-derived default pending a verified source. Grip .84 and drag CdA 3.5 retain code-derived handling defaults; steering .85 reflects the indirect heavy six-wheel chassis, acceleration 1 is unchanged. Wheelbase 3.048 m and .56 m tyre radius are proportion/family geometry inputs, not newly verified factory measurements. Unarmed, unarmoured, no smoke. Amphibious role uses the existing water-hazard resistance and winch perks; it does not introduce a new swimming simulation.
