History
The 800 kept the V-Shorty’s body with a rear seat, heater and instruments that the market wanted; the 800A brought the V8 and the six and new front sheet metal, the 800B a facelift before the Wayfarer II. The Fastback of 1966–68 with its sloping fibreglass or canvas rear roof was the sporting version, the Aristocrat of 1969 the luxury one.
