History
The VM90P protected personnel carrier, with a sloping bonnet, small glazed windows and a steel armoured passenger compartment.
The VM90P replaces the canvas troop body with a protected cabin. This model uses the early small left bonnet-side vent and plain olive Army finish documented by Gabriele Luciani. The supplied Carabinieri photographs corroborate the basic body but their blue paint, red stripes, riot mesh and warning lights are not copied. Italian construction and Italian Army/Carabinieri operation are retained; deployment locations do not add operator countries. The existing simulation defaults of 220 Nm and 4,500 kg are retained provisionally; mass is a simulated operating mass including protection, not a verified kerb-weight claim. The derived armoured-role speed is 88 km/h. Exact early protected performance was not established. Grip .82 and drag 3.2 describe the heavy armoured body; steering .Shorty and acceleration .85 are gameplay trims. Closed roof hatches carry no weapon or smoke; armour capability is enabled. Geometry sources: original Army walkaround for nose, flanks and hatch fittings; Carabinieri photographs for body proportions. Rear spare/access-door detail is reconstructed from the same photographer’s documented scale build and remains less certain than the directly photographed front/flanks. It must not be read as a registration-specific replica. Queue production figures combine VM90 variants and licensed derivatives, not VM90P totals.
