Border Search and Rescue Defender

Border Search and Rescue Unit, based at Kelso, is the volunteer mountain rescue team for the Cheviot Hills and the eastern Borders. ukemergency.co.uk photographed its Defender 110 station wagon SN12 DSZ, a 2012-registered Puma Defender named REIVER on the bonnet sides after the Border reivers: white with a fluorescent yellow waist stripe, BORDER SEARCH & RESCUE UNIT lettering and the team badge on the rear doors, mirrored AMBULANCE on the bonnet, a full-length roof rack carrying a blue RESCUE light bar between two spot lamps with rope bags and climbing kit behind, a snorkel, a black A-bar with twin round spot lamps across the grille, mesh headlamp guards, a small electric winch and white steel wheels.

The registry's model reproduces REIVER with the stripe, lettering and badge, light bar, spot lamps, snorkel, A-bar lamps, winch and the roof kit, which drops as cargo in the game alongside the blue-light boost and winch pickups.
