The record

In the middle of the 2000s the Żandarmeria Wojskowa, Poland's Military Police, bought a batch of 140 Land Rover Defender 110s from Jaguar Land Rover's Warsaw importer, model-year 2006 by their VIN plates and left-hand drive, on the Td5's standard XD chassis with the 2,495 cc five-cylinder diesel (90 kW / 122 hp at 4,200 rpm, five-speed manual, 129 km/h). TEAM Marek Pasierbski of Wrocław converted them: Tevor-plated Ramsey self-recovery winches, jerrycan racks, a red-and-blue light bar, air-conditioning and a Webasto heater, Garmin GPS and police radio-telephones, mesh glazing protection on some, and the force's white side band with italic ZW initials.

Most were station wagons with a distinctive raised roof about 150 mm higher than standard, seating eight, which Joint-Forces.com photographed on exercise Trident Juncture in 2018; a soft-top version with a canvas-covered rear body and six seats was supplied with them. The queue's own image showed the station wagon, so the soft top is modelled to the same design as directed: grey-green cab, dark green windowless canvas, ZW light bar, bull bar and winch, white band with MP MILITARY POLICE door badges and jerrycan racks. In the game it carries the blue-light boost and winch pickups.

AI rendering impression

An AI rendering impression starts from the registry's own 3D model of this vehicle, which an image model then paints into a scene. It is an artist's impression of the type, made to give a feel for the vehicle in its element — not a photograph, and not a record of any particular vehicle.

Proportions, fittings, markings, colours and the setting can all drift from the original in the process. For the vehicle's actual details, rely on the registry's 3D renders, the specification and the cited sources on this page.
