History

The initial export batch comprised 500 vehicles for the United States and 25 for Canada, equipped with a 3.9-litre V8, five-speed manual transmission, air conditioning and an external roll cage. The model follows Vetatur Fumare's photograph of a white 1993 example in Montauk: black steel wheels and arches, white cage following the screen and roof, a black roof rack, brush bar and winch, three Hella lamp covers, larger side markers and individual door steps. The rebuilt assembly uses the shared Runner body, screen, mirrors, wheels, bumper, winch and rack. The photo caption gives 535 vehicles, conflicting with the article's initial-batch total of 525; this record retains the latter as the specified batch count. The Creator offers the same cage in black, white or a custom colour on Series and Runner bodies, excluding traybacks.
