Description
The small shielded lamp bolted on an L-bracket to the inside of the rear crossmember behind the NATO hook, throwing a dim beam down onto the white-painted differential so the vehicle behind can keep station in a blacked-out convoy; rotating the shield opens a rectangular slot that turns it into a number-plate lamp. Selected from the Lucas six-way convoy/blackout switch (PRC2089) on the dash, with a 24 V 6 W or 12 V bulb.
