The 2006 Challenge retained the Defender 110 Td5 as a support vehicle. Thirty-one were prepared and 29 used for communications, route reconnaissance, film, photography and medical backup.

This model follows BV55 ZBP in the 2006 publicity photograph. It has the larger rack-front G4 sign and offset registration, four lamps, a raised intake, window guards, recovery winch and orange rope.
