Michelin's steel-braced radial in 7.50-16, offered by the Rover Company ex works on the Series II as optional equipment for mainly on- and off-road use. On the Regular (88in) Series II it had to be carried on the Long (109in) 5.50F-16 wheels.
Ex-works option on Series II; 7.50-16 is the standard 109 size.
Rarity. Sold ex-works by the Rover Co. as optional equipment on the Series II from about 1958 (Michelin leaflet); the radial XY pattern is long superseded and seen today only on preserved vehicles. End of production not established.
