Sankey ¾-ton GS trailer, narrow track (FV2361)

GKN Sankey · United Kingdom · 1971–1985

Two-wheeled welded-steel cargo trailer, the classic British Army 'Sankey' towed behind Series IIA/III and Ninety/One Ten Land Rovers. The narrow-track 'fixed back' body has no tailgate because it was designed to be watertight and float when fording; it rides on Land Rover 5-stud 16in wheels so the towing vehicle's spare fits.
