Two 3½ kVA Onan lightweight petrol generating sets mounted side by side in a standard ½-ton, 1-ton or ¾-ton Sankey cargo trailer, with a jerry-can holder for the generator fuel, to power radio, workshop and command installations behind FFR Land Rovers.

Rarity. Issued for three decades (a narrow-track ¾-ton example entered service July 1965 and was struck off September 1993); the trailers were sold on with or without their Onan sets, and dealers still offer generator trailers for around £150 (H&H Surplus).
