14,000 lb worm-and-wheel hydraulic drum winch with an irreversible worm gear for braking and a free-spool clutch, run from a hydraulic pump on an LT230 transfer-box PTO so that it winches under engine power without draining the battery. Superwinch's H10, H12 and H14 hydraulics became common on ex-utility Defenders and are the usual PTO winch on late Defenders.
