The first Land Rover compressor installation, offered by Rover itself in 1949: a three-cylinder broad-arrow air-cooled Bullows 2A5000 on a bedplate in the rear body, driven by three V-belts from the centre PTO at governed engine speed, with a 12 in air receiver above it, intercooler and aftercooler, automatic unloader and pneumatic governor control. Free air delivery 60 cu ft/min at 100 psi at 1,300 rpm, enough for a road breaker, with the crew still carried.

Description
