Auger post-hole borer hung on the Land Rover's approved three-point hydraulic linkage and driven by a telescopic shaft from the rear PTO through an oil-bath reduction gearbox with a slipping clutch. Bores holes to 3 ft with 4, 6 or 9 in augers, or 18 in to 2 ft with the plantation auger; a swivel joint keeps holes vertical on slopes and the lift raises it clear for transport.
