Gearbox of 5:6 ratio bolted to the rear crossmember and driven by a propshaft from the centre PTO, giving a standard SAE 6-spline agricultural output shaft at the tail of the vehicle. It powered belt pulleys, rear capstan winches, welders, compressors, pumps and trailed implements; the first 400 had 10-spline shafts.

Description

Gearbox of 5:6 ratio bolted to the rear crossmember and driven by a propshaft from the centre PTO, giving a standard SAE 6-spline agricultural output shaft at the tail of the vehicle. It powered belt pulleys, rear capstan winches, welders, compressors, pumps and trailed implements; the first 400 had 10-spline shafts.

Propshaft length differs by wheelbase and engine; a late pulley unit is believed to have been made for the Ninety/One Ten (lr-winches).

Rarity. Catalogued for the whole Series run and the rear PTO serial series ran into the 1970s, but most were removed when vehicles left farm work; reconditioned units sell at £2,160 (lroe, 2026) and NOS crated units at €14,750-15,590 (lr-winches), and dealers hold few at a time.
